ELIZABETH FISHER: Elizabeth, at 17, married James Minchin in 1851 in Western Australia. James, a carpenter, was the brother of Hester Minchin, who had married Elizabeth's brother, Samuel. Knowledge of this family is slight: Edward William Minchin born in 1852; James Henry born 1854 and died 1855; James Walter born 1856. James and his family went to Victoria some time in the 1850s, where James worked as a wheelwright.
Elizabeth married James Minchin in 1851.
